So much fun shooting loads of kids in all the colour of Dotty Dungarees, the brand asked for a wild and windswept moors feel for the shoot and luckily the ponies wanted to get involved too.
New season shoot for AW20, I have been walking around the countryside near my home for the last six months trying to keep the kids busy all through lockdown so it was perfect when Hannah from The Pigeon and the Wolf wanted a field location shoot. The farmer had been waiting to harvest the barley for a week or so before the shoot but luckily for me it rained for days until shoot day, two days later it was all baled up.
My brief for this shoot was colourful and fun.
It was lovely working with both my kids on this, they enjoyed helping pick colours to coordinate and working with each other certainly added spontaneity!
I had some fun with my son and his lockdown hair in the studio, I’m not brave enough to get the scissors out so it’s all gone a bit Luke Skywalker here. In a few weeks we might be more 1970’s tennis Bjorn Borg style or we could try some products and go upwards like James Dean!
